That promise was overturned rather easily.

“Why did this happen?” (Jiro)

“Are you listening, Mr. Jiro?” (Suela)

I’m sitting in a bar, not a Fantasy Tavern, but a traditional bar that looks like something you’d find in Europe today.

She was sitting next to me, leaning against me. Her eyes were fixed and her sexiness was even worse because she was completely drunk.

But I couldn’t react to that.

I looked from one side of the room to the other and saw Supervisor Evia, Instructor Kio, and Instructor Fusio, all of whom had created this situation, smiling lecherously and drinking in an uncharacteristically quiet manner.

They were absolutely enjoying the situation and were waiting for something to happen like beasts waiting for their prey.

Seeing this, I wondered if they would miss out on what was, from a third person’s point of view, a fun situation. I gave up, thinking that they wouldn’t miss the fun situation from the third person’s point of view, and recalled how I got here.

It all started this morning when I promised myself to stay in my room for the rest of the day.

“Oh, my gosh! If it’s all right with you tonight, would you like to have dinner with us to celebrate your accomplishment of breaking through a floor? Oh, well, you can decline if you have something to do…” (Suela)

What is this cute person?

I couldn’t tell how many times I slept, but  I woke up again. In response to the chime that rang when I was wondering if I would wake up, my face turned red enough to tell that I had dark skin with my drowsy eyes. It was a dark elf.

No, it was Suela.

“Oh, dinner?” (Jiro)

This is a very rare case where a woman invites you out to dinner, but unfortunately, I’m too sleepy to grasp the fact that I’m currently very fortunate.

“What time is it?” (Jiro)

“Will you be going?” (Suela)

“Yes, I have no plans.” (Jiro)

All I could do was judge my schedule for the day and whether or not I could meet their demands.

“So, meet me at the entrance of the underground facility at seven o’clock!!” (Suela)

“Seven o’clock at the entrance to the underground facility, I understand.” (Jiro)

“Now, if you’ll excuse me!” (Suela)

“Yes… There she goes.” (Jiro)

So, even though Suela ran off without answering, I can only make a judgment based on my work mentality that, she was in a hurry to get to me since she was working on her day off.

“…Should I make coffee?” (Jiro)

I’m not that sharp when I have just woken up.

But I can still move and make some thoughtful decisions because of my previous job, but that’s okay now.

I make myself a cup of instant coffee and watch a variety show that airs around noon on weekends.

“Today I’m free until 7 o’clock, I can’t train because I’m told to rest, I can’t enter the dungeon, so? Huh, I have no hobbies?” (Jiro)

Gradually my brain starts waking up, and my blurry thoughts become clear.

“I’ll look for a hobby later on, but somehow I will kill time until seven o’clock and have dinner with Suela at…? With Suela, the two of us? *Choke*!” (Jiro)

And as my thoughts caught up with me, I finally grasped the current situation and inhaled coffee down my windpipe.

The word “date” flickered in my mind for a moment, but that was not the point right now.

“*Cough*, It’s not a good time to be choking on hot coffee, especially with my current state, do I have any proper clothes in the first place?” (Jiro)

It’s been a little over two months since I changed jobs, and I’m usually either wearing equipment to enter dungeons, pajamas, or a training jersey and since I barely had time to go out in my previous job, I barely have any casual clothes.

Of course, there was no way I could have clothes for going out to dinner with a woman.

“…I should get going.” (Jiro)

The time was just before noon, and I could make it if I took the car.

My head ached at the thought of spending more money, but I couldn’t turn my back on it.

It’s a situation where I have to dress decently.

I should be prepared to spend a little money at this point.

“Is there enough time to shop for clothes after sending out my equipment for repair?” (Jiro)

As I get dressed, I look at my gear scattered on the floor and regret having slept in the morning, but for now, I move quickly.

Then, I bought a set of clothes from a slightly expensive clothing store with a set of mannequins and headed back to the meeting place, thinking that I had somehow made it in time.

“Oy, oy, Jiro, you’re not going to just appear right out of the blue, are you?” (Kio)

“Kakakakaka, I’m sorry, not the little girl.” (Fusio)

With the exception of a few, a full-on red flag lineup was waiting for me.

All of them were dressed in plain clothes, but there was something wrong with the members of the group.

The first part of the group, Suela in a green-based dress, which is great.

But there was something wrong with Instructor Kio in his Hawaiian shirt attire, Instructor Fusio in his summer clothes (jeans, shirt, and jacket), and Supervisor Evia in her smart-casual slacks, all of whom were screaming “Red Flag”.

“I’m sorry, I couldn’t, not exclude them.” (Suela)

“Do you want us to go?” (Kio)

“Indeed, indeed.” (Fusio)

“Did you think you could escape?” (Evia)

I knew from this conversation that these people were not supposed to be here.

“Jiro broke through the first floor of the dungeon, what’s the point of being an instructor if you don’t praise your pupil’s accomplishments?” (Kio)

“That’s right, and it also serves as a welcome party for Jiro.” (Fusio)

“Don’t worry, you won’t be paying this time. Drink and eat as much as you like.” (Evia)

And I know this much.

All three of them are welcoming me, but my intuition or something inside me is telling me that there is more to it.

There is a reason.

Then, I was taken to the seat as if I had made a reservation, I and Suela were next to each other. The three of them happily then sat next to each other on a slightly wider seat, as if the seating had been decided beforehand.

“So, let’s welcome Jiro Tanaka and congratulate him on breaking through the first floor.” (Evia)

“”””cheers!””” (Everyone)

And with Supervisor Evia’s introduction, this drinking party began.
