When it comes to summer, the first word that comes to mind for working people is probably the word “hot”.

Whether you are a salesperson, a construction worker, a highway patrolman, or a staff member at an event, the summer heat has a way of dampening the spirits of working people.

The idea of going to the beach, wearing a bathing suit, or splitting watermelons is something that only students think of, not something that adults who have been in the workforce for a few years can think of.

It is for working people to think about how to work in a comfortable environment.

“It’s already summer, isn’t it?” (Minami)

“Yeah.” (Jiro)

“The sea.” (Minami)

“Actually, it seems to be the inside of a dungeon.” (Masaru)

“Swimsuit season!!!” (Kaido)

“Kaido, don’t get too excited, lend me that umbrella.” (Jiro)

I was supposed to be in the dungeon, but in reality, I’m kneeling on the sand, setting up beach chairs and a parasol on the beach, and wearing a swimsuit.

“It’s not as if the benefits aren’t good enough.” (Kaido)

“Can’t we not talk about the benefits?” (Jiro)

“…I’m sorry.” (Kaido)

In addition to the blue ocean, white sandy beaches, and brilliant sunshine, you can see waterslide amusement facilities, food stalls run by goblins and orcs, and even a garden bar where an incubus is a bartender.

It’s way more than just normal work benefits.

“Can you believe all this is in a dungeon?” (Kaido)

“I have to believe it because it’s right in front of me.” (Masaru)

“That’s right.” (Minami)

I’ve heard of big companies that have private beaches and summer homes, but is there any company in the world that can provide this level of recreational facilities?

The scene I saw looked like a paid recreational facility adjacent to a vast private beach.

It’s not like there’s a TV show about some big company’s private beach, and yet here we are, the whole party.

If it was a swimming pool, I could understand, but if it was something like this, it would be a different story.

I wondered if it was really free with the employee ID.

“We won’t be billed later, right?” (Masaru)

“They’ll charge you for food and drinks.” (Jiro)

“What’s with you, Senior? You’re not even excited! The company has prepared this facility for our comfort, so let’s play without worrying about it.” (Kaido)

You’re way too excited. I don’t want to call him an idiot, so I sigh instead.

Still, sometimes I envy this idiot’s (Kaido) liveliness.

“It’s true, I’ve been working a lot lately.” (Minami)

“Well, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to have our vacation here. There’s nothing wrong with laying out the blankets and sunbathing right?” (Kaido)

“Well, I’ve been training a lot, I’m honestly envious because it seems like my body doesn’t easily build muscles.” (Masaru)

“I’ve always been a kendo practitioner, so I have a good foundation. Well, if you repeat our previous battles, you will gain muscle for sure.” (Jiro)

And that idiot (Kaido), looking at him makes me want to act a little petty.

Well, we’re earning a good amount of money, so we’ll be able to manage even if there’s an emergency.

I took out a cigarette from my bag and puffed on it while answering Masaru’s question

“Well, you aren’t powerless right?” (Jiro)

“That’s right, still…” (Jiro)

He has been running around with the spoils on his back for the past few months, and although his body is not muscular, it is lean and toned, and he looks manly enough, but he seems to be concerned about his fair skin and androgynous features.

The point is that he wants to do something about his aesthetics rather than the practical benefits of muscles.

“Magic power is truly versatile, that it is.” (Minami)

I’m sure there are people who heard this sound and imagined the sound of something scraping, but Masaru and I, who were looking in the same direction, could exactly imagine what it indicated.

“They’re early.” (Jiro)

“That was fast.” (Masaru)

“I know it’s a natural reaction, but what do you think of Kaido’s physical ability to just barely see their movement with his status?” (Jiro)

“…I have no respect for him.” (Masaru)

“I agree.” (Jiro)

“…” (Kaido)

Satisfied with Masaru’s initial reaction, which was to avert his gaze slightly. I’ll take care of the cigarette before they get here.

He reacts to the direction of the sound, leaving an afterimage. The sand at Kaido’s feet has flown up, leaving a small hole.

I don’t mean to follow suit, but I’ll look in that direction too.

“Kaido, do you need a tissue for now?” (Jiro)

“It’s okay, it hasn’t come out yet.” (Kaido)

The first thing I saw was Kaido, who stared, charmed so I slapped him a bit, but it was still not difficult to catch the group of testers’ eyes glued to the group.

I waved back to Suela, who waved at me and greeted the gorgeous group.

“The envy is killing me.” (Kaido)

“Yeah, as a man I can see why, so I agree with them.” (Jiro)

I’ve heard that you need to pay an equal price to get something, but I’ve also heard that if you welcome a variety of beautiful women, you’re bound to get the jealous glare of men.

I don’t know if it’s because I’ve trained in the dungeon and become sensitive to hostility, or if the other side has trained me to be able to bounce this negative emotion off of myself, but I do know that it’s an emotion that’s so understandable that I wish I had the ability to be a numbskull protagonist just now.

“Sorry I made you wait.” (Suela)

“No, as long as I get to see Suela in her swimsuit.” (Jiro)

That has nothing to do with what I’m going to do next.

It’s a really awkward line. It may even sound forced, but it’s my policy to enjoy every bit of my perks.

“Your swimsuit looks good. You look beautiful.” (Jiro)

“Well, thank you.” (Suela)

This is all I can do as someone clumsy like me, but it seems that I got a passing score.

The bikini-clad Suela, wearing a light purple piece and a waist pareo, has a luster peculiar to a dark elf that Japanese people cannot. [T/N: Pareos are pieces of colorful/patterned light cloth wrapped around people’s bodies.]

She was a little embarrassed when I complimented her straightforwardly.

If you can feel the warmth that is not related to the weather, you don’t have to worry about the people around you looking at you.

“What, you’re only going to compliment Suela?” (Kaley)

“What’s wrong with complimenting her? First, Kaley was complimented by Kaido right?” (Jiro)

The other women booed when I praised her honestly. I’m not sure if she’s serious, to begin with, but I’ll give her a bland response just in case.

Kaido was the first to respond.

“He’s there.” (Kaley)

I look at where the orange-bikini-clad Kaley was pointing with her thumb

“Wow, I have no regrets in my life.” (Kaido)

“For the time being, I will treat you, so please stay still.” (Masaru)

I felt like I was in elementary school.

He was lying on his back, bleeding from his nose, and was being treated by Masaru.

There are two types of nosebleeds: one is caused by scratching the nasal cavity, and the other is caused by blood flowing too fast due to excitement and the blood vessels bursting from the pressure, causing the nose to bleed. Both can be cured with recovery magic.

“Hey?” (Kaley)

Hey? I don’t get it.

I’m not sure if it’s my lack of experience or the fact that it’s rare for a woman to ask a man with a girlfriend for a compliment.

“Oh, well, it looks good on you.” (Jiro)

“So bland!” (Kaley)

No, I can’t help it. If I praise her with all my might here, I’ll definitely spoil Suela’s mood.

It’s not discrimination, but it’s a situation that requires distinction.

And then,

“Then, how about me?” (Memoria)

Memoria, Et tu, Brute?

Just when I thought it was over, the next attack comes.

What is this situation, a popularity contest? Have I suddenly become popular, this is the third time you know?

If that’s the case, why don’t you come when I was a little younger? At my age, I don’t have the energy to surround myself with multiple women.

But now that I’m being asked, I have no choice but to answer.

I want to let out a sigh, but that would be rude.

I keep my mouth shut and looked at Memoria.

It’s a black one-piece swimsuit, slender (important) and fair-skinned compared to the previous two, and the shade matches perfectly, so it doesn’t look out of place.

In fact, I’d say it looks good on her.

I’m not sure why you’re looking at me without saying something to me when I’ve just complimented Kaley.

It’s a good thing Suela is not mad at me.

“I’ve been working out a lot lately, that I have a much better body, that I have.” (Minami)

“Don’t stick to me! You’re right, you’re right!” (Jiro)

“I’m right, that I am.” (Minami)

The development is similar to a romantic comedy.

“Oh, humanity is not equal.” (Kaido)

“Don’t talk about humanity while looking like you’re about to shed tears of blood.” (Jiro)

And there is a clear winner and loser structure in place.

“Senior you don’t understand! You’re a winner, you don’t know how I feel!” (Kaido)

“No, my girlfriend is only Suela, okay?” (Jiro)

Don’t get me wrong.

Here in Japan, like any fantasy novel, a harem is nothing more than a red flag to a kitchen knife straight to your kidneys.

“Oh? The Demon King’s Army accepts polygamy, so there’s no problem. You just need to decide the hierarchy.” (Memoria)

“”…”” (Everyone)

Oh no, the other party was a fantasy inhabitant.

“Yes, it may not be familiar here, but in our world, it is a rather major practice. There is the issue of family income, but it’s not uncommon for commoners to have bigamy.” (Memoria)

I looked at Suela and asked her if she was joking, but she told me that it was common knowledge.

“Well, is it a race-specific practice?” (Jiro)

“In any case, even Dark Elves accept bigamy.” (Suela)

“There are no issues for vampires.” (Memoria)

“If I remember correctly, there was no such thing as a race with a taboo on that, right?” (Kaley)

I’ve heard that common sense is no longer common sense across countries, but in other worlds, it goes without saying.

I’m not sure what the point is in hitting the beach hard with your fists, Kaido.

“I’m in despair. It’s not just in our world that there’s inequality, even on the otherworld there’s still inequality.” (Kaido)

Is it okay to throw a tsukkomi that we are still technically in Japan?

Well, it wouldn’t matter because it won’t be heard by Kaido who is in this state, then there’s a troublesome comment.

“I don’t hate Kaido, okay? But we just naturally prefer strong men, you know?” (Kaley)

“Let’s play Senior!” (Kaido)

You’re getting back on your feet fast, you know.

And you, Kaley, you got me into this, didn’t you?

Behind Kaido, who is challenging me while pointing his finger at my face, I see Kaley laughing at her schemes.

“If you show me something cool, I might fall in love you know?” (Kaley)

“Woooo!!! I’m in! I’ll do it!!!” (Kaido)

I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen Kaido show this much motivation after getting to know him in the past. No, I haven’t.

Today’s Kaido is so motivated that I can’t help but be a little snide.

“Oh, okay, okay. I’ll keep you company until you’re satisfied.” (Jiro)
