So, it is 2023 and we’re still going. I scrapped the Blogger/Blogspot plan, instead, I am now paying for a better plan, thanks to the Supporters that keep the site afloat. WordPress is more complicated but there are more tools to help keep the site up, plus I don’t have to migrate stuff.
About the changes, well, I changed a lot of things, like the new membership plans on the website and the advanced chapters. Now, everyone can access the advanced chapters on the website if they sign up for membership. I changed some of the URLs, I will change more of them in the future so everything is more systematic. I also changed my style, with less Keigo and focusing on adapting to western tones (I hope I do sound more western even if I am Asian). I also dropped Friendly Reincarnator (Louis is becoming more like a jerk, I like nice guys or bad-to-the-bone MCs) and added Drawn Mochi and Black Cat. Drawn Mochi and Black Cat have adorable MCs, I hope they stay that way. That’s some of the changes I made that I remember.
Next are the plans for the website and my own personal plans. First, about the website, I will try to avail myself of a faster hosting plan so it’s faster and I will find a way to make the site more minimalist and accessible, my site can be crappy on mobiles, so I plan to fix that. There are also some series that I am currently reading and (roughly) translating, hopefully, I might have the power to make it a regular series on the website. Some of those series might not become available since I have some authors deny my request to translate their works. So, enjoy the current series for now, especially the two new ones. Website plans are done for now.
So, about my personal plans, I am working on my requirements to apply for an overseas job, it’s a healthcare assistant (Caregiving) job. I miss taking care of people and some of the businesses I helped build with my siblings are self-sustaining and earning. With my parents stable and safe, I want to earn an acceptable amount of money while doing things I like. I have my laptop bought from donations/subscriptions/ad revenue, a butt-load of thanks to everyone. This means I can translate whenever I have free time. When the time comes that I get hired, I still won’t stop translating. Reading web novels and assisting old people are two things that I like. So, no matter how toxic my schedule becomes, even if I might whine occasionally. I won’t stop, so, I hope you too won’t stop reading my stuff. That’s it for my plans and rambling.
